Sammie Lee Romine, 68, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas.
He was born in Heart, Arkansas on May 11, 1949, son of Margie (Pickle) Lash and the late Archie Lee Romine. Sammie spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, cousin and uncle. He served our country in the United States Army until he retired in 1973.
Sammie is survived by his mother, Margie Lash; daughter, Samantha Jo Lopez and husband Craig; four grandsons, Ethan, Braydon, Aaron and Jayden; one half-sister, Shirley Honeycutt and husband John; five half-brothers, Robert Lash and wife Becky, Dennis Lash and wife LaDarla, Danny Lash, John Lash and wife Becky and Paul Lash and wife Marsha and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Lee Romine and half-brother, Scotty McDowell.
