Sammie Lee Brown a resident of the Mt Zion community of Grove Hill departed this life on Sunday, July 19 at the Thomasville Nursing Home. He was born onApril 8, 1950 to Alice V. Adams and Ardell Brown.
His favorite pastime was horseback riding and trading horse and travel to many horse shows.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Samuel O. (Stacie) Brown and daughter, Crystal D. Brown Boateng; two grandchildren, Danielle Lashay Allen and DeCorian K. Boateng all of Tuscaloosa. His sibling, Chester (Lillian) Adams of Grove Hill, Eddie (Minnie) Adams of Jackson, Ardell (Edna P.) Brown of Denham Springs, La., Scottie Adams of New Orleans, La. and Denisal Lutricia (Will) McAlpine of Snellville, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
