Samantha N. Wentzell, age 61, of Roswell passed away Friday, July 14, 2017.
Samantha Nicole Wentzell was born in Nelsonville, Ohio on September 14, 1955 to James and Margaret Barkie. She served her country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. Samantha enjoyed crafts of all types. She was a master of crocheting and needle point, but also did beadwork. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for various Roswell companies.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father Mr. and Mrs. James Barkie, and one sister Barbara.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Wentzell of the family home of Roswell, NM; son Nathaniel Grammer of Roswell, NM; 3 brothers Robert Barkie of Weisbaden, Germany, Michael Barkie of Chancney, OH, James Barkie of Arkansas; sisters Dianan Bolin of OH, Marian Hanson of OH; nieces Karen Swackhammer and Rita Long; nephew Wayne Bolin, Daughter-in-law Krystal Grammer and friend Charles Grammer of CA; and 2 grandchildren Phoenix Grammer and Abigail Perry.
