Samantha Ann Rhoades, 56 of Bridgeport, WV passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at United Hospital Center with family by her side. She was born March 12, 1966 in Washington, DC, daughter of Reta Mae (Rush) Cochran of Adamston, and the late Floyd Marshall Rhoades.
Samantha graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 1984. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for WVU Medicine for over seventeen years. She enjoyed playing pool and slots and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Samantha is survived by three children, Shannon Marie Pumphrey and Brandon, Reynoldsville, Tricia Leanne Visokay, Bridgeport, Amanda Claire McClung, Buckhannon; seven grandchildren, Kyley, Owen, Bailey, Brandon, Jeremiah, Ashlynn, and Brynlee; three siblings, Janet Hascue and David, Spencer, WV, Glenda Cutlip and Mike, Clarksburg, Darrell Marshall Rhoades, Buckhannon; four nephews.
In addition to her father, Samantha was preceded in death by her stepfather, Marvin H Cochran.
