Sam K.”Ken” Jackson Sr., 68, a resident of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. He was born in Columbia County to the late William T. and Annette {Keen} Jackson and has remained here all his life. He attended school here in Columbia County up until his senior year when he transferred to Union County High School and graduated in 1964. He retired from the Florida Department of Transportation after 35 years. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved farming, raising cattle, hunting and fishing.
