Sam J. Crescione, age 86, formerly of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Orange and is at last with his beloved and treasured wife, the late May Hope Crescione. Born on September 12, 1928 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late George and Maria Fico Crescione. Sam served with great pride and honor in the US Army with the Post War Occupation Forces in Japan, tragically witnessing the devastation of Hiroshima.
He is survived by his daughters; Hope Annunziato and her husband Frank of New Haven, Cheryl Watts and her husband William of Orange and Jill Mack and her husband Michael of Bridgeport; six cherished grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many more loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife May, he was predeceased by his sister, Josephine Garber and brothers, Santo, Joseph, John and James Crescione.
