Mr. Salvatore Urbano
, 74, of Passaic departed suddenly with his wife, Jeanette (Kane) on Saturday April 25, 2009.
Salvatore was born in Barrafranca, Sicily. He came to this country in 1948 and settled in Passaic. He was honorably discharged from the US ARMY. He earned a BA in Biology with a minor in French from NYU as well as a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was employed as a chemist for Hoffman La-Roche for the bulk of his professional career.
He is survived by his six devoted children. Rose Mary Olcese (Gino), Joseph (Muna), John (Jacqueline), Thomas (Kimberly), Michael and Frank Urbano. He is also survived by ten grandchildren. He leaves behind his sister, Rose Crapanzano (Angelo). He is survived by his sister-in-laws; Rita Kane and Susan Reynolds, and two brother-in-Iaws; Michael Kane(Peggy) and John Kane(Judy).
He was pre-deceased by his granddaughter, Mary Faith Urbano.
