On Sunday November 8th, 2020 Salvatore Paolella of Drexel Hill PA was called home to be with God. Salvatore was 93 years young. He is survived by his loving wife Marion Paolella who he was married to for over 69 years. Sal is also survived by his four children, Lorraine Hutchinson, Linda Peifer, Salvatore J (Patricia) and Karen Massaro and his seven Grandchildren (Predeceased) David Peifer Jr, Jamie Hutchinson, Chris Peifer (Mary), Matthew Peifer (Samantha), Krista Wright (Alexander), John Hutchinson Jr. and Michael Salvatore Massaro. Sal will also lovingly be remembered by his three Great Grandchildren.Salvatore enjoyed celebrating life surrounded by his family. He loved the holidays and visits with them all and enjoyed hearing his grandson playing the trumpet. He leaves behind a legacy of Love, Happiness, Fun and the litany of things that will be forever be remembered in his name including Poppy toast, Poppy eggs, Poppy milkshakes and Poppy wine just to name a few.Salvatore had the rarest ability to tell a joke, sing a song or spin a story that transcended generations no matter if it was the “Jackson or Johnson” card trick or one of his original scores (“Here comes Pope, Taff and Coke and Sal, Mar and Kar”)He will forever be missed as a Husband, Father and a “Poppy.
