Salvatore “Otto” Felice (Feliciello), of Southbury, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2009. He was the husband of Lucy (DeMarco) Felice for 67 years. Mr. Felice was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on May 14, 1914. He was the son of Angelo and Luisa (Manna) Feliciello. Mr. Felice served his country in WW II as an Army sergeant in China and India. He later served in the Military Police at Fort Slocum, NY. After discharge, he worked at Roger Kent, a men’s clothing store in Rockefeller Center, NY He moved to Long Island, NY, where he managed an upscale men’s clothing store. In 1985, he and his wife moved to Heritage Village. He worked at Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury for ten years, selling snacks to students in the lunchroom. He retired at age 80, and enjoyed his family, walks in the village, his vegetable garden, music and books.
