Salvatore J. Mauriello, 64
Albany Salvatore J. Mauriello, 64, of Albany, died suddenly Monday at Albany Medical Center Hospital Albany. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Salvatore J. and Elda McClowsky Mauriello. He had resided for most of his life in Troy and, for the past 10 years, in Albany.
Sal was educated at Troy Public School 5, Troy High School and attended Russell Sage Evening Division.
Mr. Mauriello was employed for the past 3 years as a court attendant for the Albany County Family Court. For several years prior to that he worked numerous security jobs and had been a Lieutenant in the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department.
Sal had a quick sense of humor, loved music, art and fine food. He will be missed by family, friends and colleagues.
Survivors include two sisters Louise Ferris of Troy, Mary Chmielewski of Albany and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters Anna Mauriello and Angeline Gross and a brother, Anthony Mauriello.
