Salvatore DiNino, 80, of Newington died on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Hartford Hospital, after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Anna Maria (Margiotta) DiNino for 52 years. Born in Pratola-Peligna, Italy, he lived in Hartford before moving to Newington 41 years ago and was a member of St. Mary’s Church. Sal worked at New England Centerless Grinding, W. Hartford for over 25 years. He was a proud member of the Pratolano-Peligna Club on Franklin Ave., Hartford for many years. Sal enjoyed gardening, wine-making, his dog “Ginger” but loved most spending time with his family and carrying on tradition. Besides his wife, Anna Maria, he leaves his sons: Emilio DiNino, his wife Karen and their children Alyssa and Nicholas of Newington, Salvatore DiNino, Jr. and his wife Renee of Wethersfield, Tony DiNino and his family, two brothers: Mr. and Mrs. Elio DiNino and their family, Mr. and Mrs. Gaetano DiNino and their family all of Ontario, Canada, his niece Laura and A.J. Grenier and their family, his nephew Antonio Margiotta and family in this area.
