Salvatore D. Nuzzo, 54, of 100 Prospect Ave., West Haven passed away April 1, 2011 in The Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in New HavenDec. 23, 1956, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Catherine Mastracchio Nuzzo. He was a mechanic by trade. He is survived by one son, Salvatore Anthony Nuzzo of West Haven; three daughters, Stephanie, Ashley and Amber Nuzzo, all of West Haven; a sister, Catherine “Cathy” Bender of East Haven; four grandchildren, Anthony, Salvatore, Karla and Nadia. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, his former wife, Marianne Sacco Nuzzo and many lifelong friends.
