Salvadore “Sammy” Bergeron, Jr., passed away on December 2, 2011 following his brief battle with cancer at the age of 45. Beloved husband of Karen Bourgeois Bergeron. Father of Amy Bergeron (Carl) and Katie “Butsy” Bergeron. Grandfather of Brayden Carl Dieck. Son and Step-Son of Leslie Duhe May and John May. Survived by his Grandmother, Angelina Bergeron, Brother, Chance Bergeron, Sr., Sister, Christie Bosley (Gary), Mother-in-Law, Eleanor Watson Bourgeois, Father-in-Law, Milton Bourgeois, Brothers-in-Law, Sisters-in-Law, Step-Sister, Step-Brothers, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by his Grandparents, Lawrence and Lenora Duhe, Randolph Bergeron, Sr., and his uncle, Leonard Duhe. Sammy loved fishing and playing bass guitar but most of all, just being “Poppi” to Brayden whom he affectionately referred to as his “Boogie” and who was the sparkle in his eyes and the sunshine in his smile.
