TEDDLIE, Sally HumberSally Humber Teddlie passed from this earth on August 14, 2006, at the age of 92. Sally was born on April 6, 1914 in North Shackelford County, Albany, Texas, on the ranch of her grandparents, Lewis Clark and Sallie Perkins Huskey, who pioneered to Shackelford County in the 1890s from Sulphur Bluff near Sulphur Springs, Texas. Her parents were William Elbert Humber and Ernestine Huskey.Sally graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science degree, where she was also a member of Phi Gamma Mu Fraternity. She earned a Masters Degree from Worden School of Social Work in San Antonio, following which she worked for Catholic Charities of Oakland, California. In addition, she worked for several social agencies and published two articles. She retired from the U.S. Justice Department in 1974, Sally was nominated and selected for Personalities of the South. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Margaret Ann Feagley and her husband Robert Feagley, of Plano, Texas; Sally Katherine Tinch and her husband Andrew Tinch of Dallas, Texas; Christopher Michael Whittington of Richardson. Also survived by her three great-grandchildren, Lauren Micaela Feagley, Griffin Tinch and Kennedy Avalon Tinch. Sally is also survived by her brother Guy Louis Humber of Amarillo, was preceded in death by her husband, and by a brother, W.E. Humber of Grand Prairie and a sister, Mary Soviak of Arlington, TexasSally was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas.
