It is with great sadness that the family of Sally Ann Mallet announces her passing on Friday September 28, 2018. Sally was born on January 19, 1938 in White Plains, NY to Eva (Visconi) and Nicola Gratta. She was the wife of the late Alvin Mallet with whom she shared 57 years.
Sally retired from the White Plains School District, a position that introduced her to many of her wonderful friends. Her interests included gardening, reading, antiquing, interior decorating, and watching Yankee games. However, most of all she enjoyed laughing with and cooking for her family and friends.
Sally resided in Poughquag, NY for the last 19 years. Prior to that Sally lived and raised her family in West Harrison, NY. Sally and Al also enjoyed a home in Millsboro, DE which brought them and their family much joy.
Sally will be lovingly remembered by her four children; Ronald Mallet (Deanna) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Carol Holden (Larry) of Brewster, NY, Steven Mallet (Donna) of Marietta, GA, and Richard Mallet (Donna) of Danbury. Sally had eleven grandchildren; Kristie, Alexander, Christopher, Ryan, Steven, Alyssa, Brian, Julia, Jessica, Lauren and Justin. In addition, she had two great-grandchildren Cash and Penelope. Sally will also be fondly remembered by her many in-laws and friends.
