MARRIAGE
Around the 1950s, Sally and Dick owned a 43 ft. schooner named “Cubuf”, which they sailed along the southern coast of California and sometimes raced. In 1971, they bought a 41 ft.
Dick passed away quietly on June 12, 2012.

Her art began showing in galleries in 1964. Over the years, she had numerous solo exhibits.
For a few years in the 1990s, she was an art instructor through the Ventura Unified School District’s adult continuing education program.
By 2003, she was one of Ventura County’s best-known and well-beloved artists. One of her paintings hangs in the permanent art collection at Ventura City Hall.
