Dear loved ones of our mom Sallie D. Bradley, We are so sorry to be sharing this news as our mother has bravely faced so many health issues. Our mom was been diagnosed with non-treatable leukemia and decided to stop all dialysis treatment. She simply no longer wants any needles in her. She just wants to be with my dad. My brother and I are respecting her wishes. Mom was lovingly cared for in her final days at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola, FL. She requested to have no pain and I am assured that she had none. Her first-born made it in time while Mom was lucid to say his Farewells, as did her daughter and granddaughter. We are so grateful she was able to hear her sister’s, Aunt Judy, voice on the phone. We noticed that she has eased after each person she bid goodbye – almost like ticking off a checklist…which is something we “Sallies” enjoy very much. I hope that gives you comfort. Also, her nurse shared with us that when he came in to rotate her, she jested, “It’s about time”. THAT’S OUR MOM!!!!
