Mr. Sal Mineo Maxwell was born on January 29, 1962 in Sylacauga, Alabama to the parentage of Mr. Jimmie Burns and Mrs. Sallie Maxwell Pope. 

Sal confessed Christ at an early age at the Church of Christ Settlement Road, Sylacauga, AL. 

He attended East Highland High School in Sylacauga, AL and also attended Central Alabama Community College in Childersburg, Alabama. 

On Friday, January 1, 2020, Mr. Maxwell departed this life at UAB Medical Center, Birmingham, AL.

Mr. Maxwell leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters, Shaquiwa (Dewayne) Walker, Maria Maxwell (Rishawn), step daughter, Lachrishia (Billy) Fowler all of Sylacauga, AL; loving mother, Sallie Maxwell Pope of Sylacauga, AL; loving father, Jimmie Burns of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Carmen Daniel, Chloe Daniel, Shaliyah Fowler, and Kariyah Fowler all of Sylacauga, AL; six sisters, Shawn (James) Heath of Alpine, AL; Deanna Pope, Lucretia Pope, Sherell Pope, Chatarica Pope (Maro), all of Sylacauga, AL; Valencia Burns of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Tarvis (Lavern) Pope, Larry Pope, both of Sylacauga, AL; and Mark (Kim) Burns of Atlanta, GA; three aunts, Mary Stern, Ruth Anderson and Marie Reynolds all of Sylacauga, AL; one uncle, Franklin Maxwell of Sylacauga, AL; a loving special friend, Anita Jemison; a special step mother, Eva Burns; a special step dad, James Pope; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
