Sadie Joseph Hassan 97, of 449 Central Ave, New Haven, passed away April 5, 2007 in St. Raphael’s Hospital. Mrs. Hassan was born in Adams, MA. Jan 6, 1910, daughter of the late William & Mary Joseph. She went to school in Waterbury and, in 1933, married the late Maharib “Mike” Hassan and moved to New Haven. She was very active in charitable work, was president of the Syrian & Lebanon Society of New Haven; and was an honorary member of the Maassir Lebanese American Charitable Society of Waterbury.
