Sabino “Bino” Lee Jordan, 65, transitioned from this life Nov. 13, 2021 at his Leroy residence. His final days were spent surrounded by his family. Sabino was born Dec. 6, 1955 to L.C. Jordan and Iceola Jordan.
A member of the McIntosh Union High School graduating Class of 1974, he was an avid football, basketball and baseball player. Following graduation, he was employed at Ciba Geigy for 42 years.
A native of Fairford, Sabino was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. At an early age, he was baptized and became a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Fairford.
Preceding him in death were his father, mother, three sisters, one brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, one niece and two brothers-in-law.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Oletha Koins Jordan of Leroy; five daughters, LaQuandra Peoples of Jackson, Kendra (Keith) Barnes of Jackson, Sherrice Richardson of Tuscaloosa, and Caitlin Jordan and Taylor Koins, both of Leroy; six grandchildren, Jayden Peoples, Jordyn Pritchett, Kori Barnes, Taylynn Richardson, Jayce Pritchett and Kai Jones; sister, Connie (William) Abrams of Fairford; two brothers, Darrell (Mary) Jordan of Axis and Glen Jordan of Fairford; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn R. Hamby of Birmingham and Lela Johnson of Mobile; five brothers-in-law, Brian Albert of Oakland, Calif., Sherman Ridgeway of Leroy, Jimmie Ivory of Theodore, Louis (Xamaira) Koins of Crestview, Fla., and Alphonza (Joanna) Koins of Danville; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
