S. David McVeety , 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family, November 14, 2015. David was born March 2, 1947 to Robert and Betty McVeety in Los Angeles, California.
David was raised in Torrence, California living in the Glendale area as an adult working for Simco and PRC. In 1980, he moved to Pocatello, Idaho, where he met his wife Dixie Mullins.
They were married on August 5, 1983, bringing together 3 children, Jeremy, Kim, and Sara. David worked for the Idaho Food Bank as warehouse manager and retired in 2012. David enjoyed traveling with his wife to the Oregon Coast and many other places.
He is survived by his wife Dixie; sister, Kathy (Bounce) Stewart of Norco, California; son Jeremy (Kori) McVeety of Salem,Oregon; daughters, Kim (Tommy) Sutherland of Gravette, Arkansas; Sara (Chris) Evans of Pocatello, Idaho; seven grandchildren, Gwen, Draik, Callie of Pocatello, Idaho; Ryan, Tyler, Weston, Brilee of Gravette Arkansas.
