Ryan Oneal Tillman, 38, of 53 Alling St, West Haven, died suddenly Oct. 5, 2009. Born in Troy, N.C. Oct. 8, 1970, he was the son of Gertrude Jones of Lawrenceville, GA. & the late Vernon L. Tillman. He graduated from West Haven High School and worked for Clean-O-Matic in West was employed as a carpenter by the Carpenter’s Union, Local will be missed by all who knew him for his charming wit, easy going personality, humor and his strong will to be a true fighter in whatever he believed in. Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Ryan Whitley of New Haven; a brother, Vernon R. (Jacynda)Tillman of Lawrenceville,GA.; his step father, Kevin E. Jones of GA.; a sister, Natalie L. Jones-Wyatt (Mark Wyatt) of Duluth, GA.;and a grandson, Ryan Whitley-Barnett of New Haven. Ryan also leaves behind his life partner of over 17 years, Ms. Debbie Gant of West Haven; 3 step daughters, Marcie Gant, Brandie & Danielle Radford, all of West Haven; as well as 3 step grandchildren; He is also survived by several aunts & uncles in North Carolina as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
