Ryan Andrew Call passed away on May 9, 2017 after a long illness. He was born in Denver, April 4, 1983, the oldest of Lisa (Ackerman) and Robert Call’s four sons. He lived his entire life in Littleton, Colorado. Both parents were present when Ryan passed peacefully. His 34 years were packed full of adventure, fun, friendships, family, love and life. Ryan loved aviation and starting flight instruction in his early teens. Upon turning 16, he soloed and achieved his pilot’s license on his 17th birthday. His first passenger was Dad. Ryan attained his instrument and commercial ratings and was working on his multi engine with hopes of a flying career when he became ill. Ryan attended Metro State University studying Aviation and Aerospace Science after graduating from Chatfield HS in 2001. While Ryan loved to fly, he wasn’t afraid to jump out of a perfectly good airplane and skydive. He cherished the years working for Remax Aviation-Phantom Air and to this day his former coworkers are still great friends. Ryan enjoyed his sports, attending the first Bronco Super Bowl Win and Super Bowl 48 along with many Nuggets and Avalanche games over the years. Music was also an important part of Ryan’s life. He played guitar, drums and found a talent writing music with his brothers and friends. In later years, Ryan found great satisfaction keeping busy as a house painter, enjoyed landscaping and just helping his family in big and small ways. Ryan always had a soft spot for those less fortunate or in need of help. He once got his car towed while buying lunch for a person in need. You might find him along the highway helping someone change a flat tire.
