Ruthie M Motley, age 85, of Adamsville, AL, made her transition on July 7, 2012. She worked for many years at the Marshall Durbin Poultry Plant in Jasper, AL. Mrs. Motley was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Pratt City where she was a member of The Willie Hawkins Sunday School Class, Young At Heart Ministry and Senior Mission until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Motley, Sr.; and sons, Samuel Lee and Lewis Jordan Motley. Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Shirley (Adolphus) Williams, Bettie Clayton, Diane (Lorenzo) Jackson, Shelia Spencer and Cassandra (Carlton) Jones; son, Curtis (Yolanda) Motley, Jr.; sisters, Fannie Ray, Bertha (Otis) Milner, Ella Mae (Jimmie) Moorer, Eva Lois Trammell; brothers, E. C. (Annie Ree), Henry, and Coby C. (Catherine) Howard; Seventeen grandchildren, Twenty-nine great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, friends, and her church family “The Bethel Nation”.
