CREEDMOOR Mrs. Ruth Wiggs White, 78, a former resident of Creedmoor, went home to be with her Lord and her husband on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, after a long . White was born in Edgecombe County to the late Phillip C. Wiggs and Annie Whitley Wiggs. She retired after 23 years from Duke Medical Center as a Special Accounts Representative. She was a member of Sherron Acres FW Baptist Church and taught the Ladd Smith Bible Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Lee White, is survived by two sons, Lewis Lee White, Jr. of Chapel Hill and Michael Scott White and wife, Miriam of Durham; one daughter, Betty W. Hall and husband, Jimmy of Creedmoor; three brothers, Phil Wiggs of Lucoma, Jerry Wiggs and Joseph Wiggs both of Rocky Mt.; one sister, Agnes W. Cale of Eure; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
