Ruth Inez White, age 84, of Birmingham, died at her home on Thursday, October 15, 2009. She was born in Albertville, AL, and lived most of her adult life in the Birmingham area. Ruth was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. She worked at Pizitz, later McRae’s, in the children’s department for many years. She will be remembered for her love of her Heavenly Father, her family and her concern for others. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Willard White who died in 2004.
