Mrs. Hawkins died on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born December 8, 1930, in Lawrence County, to Robert Louie Alred and Ollie Lucille (Waugh) Alred.
She was employed at Goodyear Mills as a machine operator, prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Trinity. She was always a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she loved her family and enjoyed fishing.
Preceding her in death were her first husband: John Weaver, her second husband: James Hawkins, her parents and a brother: Windal Alred.
