Ruth Warden, 99, of Viera, Fl, went home to be in the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Ruth Warden passed away peacefully in the comfort and care at Viera Manor Assisted living.

 

Born August 7, 1916 in Villa Grove, Illinois she was the daughter of late Wilbur and Anna Roth. She was raised in Illinois with her two brothers Tom and Paul Roth now deceased.

 

She went to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she graduated as an English major. She worked as a Geological Assistant

 

She met William Warden before World War II and married him May 3, 1946 after William returned from the war.

 

She raised two children Patricia (Warden) McClary and late Frederick Warden, deceased August 2015.   The family lived in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Georgia, and Florida. During the past 44 years, as Florida residents, they lived in Indialantic, Cocoa, Merritt Island and most recently Viera Manor Assisted Living in Viera, Fl

 

She enjoyed needlework, and playing the piano, and was an excellent cook. The family enjoyed traveling, camping and water recreations.

Jenifer McClary US Army) Ft Bragg, NC; Dr. Megan Moran (Major Ben Moran USAF) Monterey, Ca; Alex McClary, Titusville, Fl; and Vladimir McClary, Cupertino, Ca; as well as three great-grandchildren Emily Grace and Mark Daniel Moran, and Madison Rae McClary
