Ruth V. “Virginia” Pryor, 89, of Anderson, passed away on April 9, 2013 at Countryside Manor in Anderson.
She was born on February 4, 1924 in Anderson and resided most of her life here. She graduated from Anderson High School and Holy Cross School of Nursing. Virginia had been a Registered Nurse for General Motors and a school nurse at Madison Heights High School. She is survived by her children, Susan Street of Chandler, AZ, and Steve Pryor of Anderson; grandchildren, Wendi Rummel, Syracuse, IN and Darren Street, San Diego CA; great-grandchildren, Sebastian Street, Carlie Street, and Alexis Street, and Conner Rummel; siblings, Larry Nevin, Anderson, Linda Etchison, Savannah, GA, and Betty Henderson, Charolotte, NC;
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Gova McCord Nevin ; husband, Lowry Denton Pryor; siblings, Oscar Nevin, Jerry Nevin and Doris Thomas;
