God’s great love led Ruth Theresa Scott Palmisano, 74, of Bristol, to Heavens Gate on Sunday August 5th. She was born in Bristol, April 18, 1932. Ruth faced her struggle of lung/bone cancer with characteristic strength. She was the wife of the late Carlo James Palmisano and the daughter of the late Mary Jane Powers and Hugh Scott of Bristol. Kind, honest and beautiful; people who were fortunate enough to know Ruth, adored her. She lived a life of endless devotion to her four children. Ruth was a member of St.
Her beloved children are Carla (Jim) Galligan of MI; Sharon (Stu) Rosansky of NY; Gail Palmisano Pacelle and husband Dana Pacelle of Bristol; David (Holly) Palmisano of Harwinton. Ruth leaves behind her treasured grandchildren; Jim & John Galligan; Karl & Jordan Pacelle; and Alana & Jake Rosansky. Ruth is also survived by her brothers Michael & Joe Scott of Vermont; and sisters Norma Gagner, Margaret Ritchie and Anna Bachman of Bristol.
