Ruth T. Weaver, 88 of Lakeland, died March 11, 2011 due to complications with Parkinson’s. She was born March 28, 1922 in Fairview, PA to Fred and Edna (Miller) Turner and moved to Lakeland in 1985 coming from Fairview. Ruth was employed as a secretary for most of her career and was employed with the Fairview School Board and retired from Titan Tool Co., Fairview. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Stevie Turner Weaver. Ruth was united in marriage on march 31, 1946 in Fairview to her husband, Thomas who resides in Lakeland. She is also survived by her sons, Tommy (Lynn) Weaver of Waterford, PA and John (Jean) Weaver of Louisiana; her daughter, Chris Kintner of Lakeland; sisters, Florence White of Sarasota and Nancy Pennypacker of Lakeland and her brother, John Turner of Chipley, FL . She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
