Ruth (Clark) Potz-Edwards-Jakowenko, 91, formerly of Bristol, Newington and Farmington died Friday December 12 ,2008 at the Alzheimer’s Resource Center in Plantsville. Ruth was born May 20, 1917 in Hartford, daughter of the late Samual and Martina (Martenson) Clark. She moved to Bristol where she owned and operated the Bits and Pieces Antique Shop. Ruth is survived by 3 sons, David Potz and his wife Penny of Bristol, Bruce Edwards of Burlington, and Keith Edwards of North Carolina, 2 daughters, Claudia Edwards-Looney and her husband Bill of Maine and Judy Bokun of Farmington, a sister Laura Spring of Florida, 5 grandchildren Kelly and David Potz Jr., Jack Edwards and his wife Stefanie, Paul Edwards and Stacey Mangan and her husband Matt, 4 great grandchildren, Daniel Potz, Luke and Alandra Mangan, and Mia Edwards, 2 daughters in law Beverley Edwards and Joyce Edwards, 3 nephews and 1 niece. Ruth was predeceased by a son John Edwards Jr.
