Frances Ruth Obermiller passed away at 12:20 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012, at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana, Illinois.
She was born on October 30, 1922, to Edd F. Shea and Kathryn Terese Locklin Shea. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. She married Lawrence “Pete” Obermiller on April 20, 1943, and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1997.
Surviving are one daughter, Sandra Hutchison, Modesto, California, and one son, Richard (Kathleen) Obermiller of White Heath, Illinois. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
