Ruth N. Dunlap, 97, of 319 Valley Street, Duboistown, died Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Rose View Center.
Ruth’s husband, Glen E. Dunlap, died on February 25, 1972.
Ruth attended Garden View Baptist Church, was a member of the W.C.T.U. and South Williamsport Senior Citizens.
Born December 24, 1911 in Muncy Township, she was the daughter of Harry E. and Elsie Mae Hall Schultz.
Surviving are a daughter, Shirley M. Dunlap of Duboistown; brother, Earl L. (Marion) Schultz of Duboistown; sisters, Pauline E. Miller and Mable E. Bosworth both of Montoursville; grandchildren; Kenneth P., Keith E., Christopher P. and Edith L. and great grandchildren, Keenan, Shane, Colin, Ian and Lydia.
Ruth was predeceased by three sons, Carl E., Harold A. and Kenneth L., a grandson, Timothy M. and a sister, Helen M. Griggs.
The family suggests contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
