Ruth Abbagliato, known to all as Mema, 96, of Beacon passed away peacefully at Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Her journey began in New York City on November, 1923 when she was born to her parents Louise and Frank Maugeri. She married the love of her life Louis Abbagliato on February 10, 1946. She retired as an accounts payable clerk from Reader’s Digest in Pleasantville. But her real passion was to be around her family and playing with her great grandkids.
