Maria Rufufia Sanchez (Ruth) was born in Orange County, California, in 1932. Ruth married Raul Sanchez in (year), together they had 3 sons and 1 daughter. While their kids were growing up, their home was a place where everyone; friends and family would gather for food, music and dance.
Ruth was well known for being an active mother in her kids’ life, showing up to all the dance classes, baseball games, meetings with the PTA and so much more. Much of the family time was spent at their family-owned restaurant called La Casita, where Ruth and Raul both owned and worked together making memories with their whole family. Ruth had a fond love of tennis and spent many afternoons enjoying watching matches with her husband, Raul.
Ruth went to be with the lord on September 19, 2022. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Amado Lopez and Natalia Villalobos. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Raul Sanchez; children: Mark (Elvia), Raul (Jana), David (Missy), Jannele (Gary), and multiple grandkids and great grandkids.
