Ruth Marie Holmes Braham, 65 of Newburg, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 at her residence with family by her side. She was born September 4, 1948 in Calais, Maine, daughter of the late Ralph Jones Holmes and Hilda Elizabeth Processor-Wotring. Ruth was a homemaker and loved to paint. She loved raising her great-grandson, John. Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Glenn Allen Braham; six children, Sandy Miller, NC, Betty Miller, MD, David Miller, WV, Junior Miller, FL, Daniel Simpson, Kingwood, Cathy Simpson, Kingwood; sixteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Barbara Jean Holmes Stouthers, Peggy Ann Holmes Pawliw, Doris Elizabeth Holmes Manis, Joan Lee Holmes Grove, Cathy Louise Holmes Kibbie, Brend Sue Holmes Grayson and Donald Jeffery Holmes; mother-in-law, Dorthy E Dunn Braham, Newburg; one brother-in-law, Brian Braham, wife Sandy and daughter Sarah, Newburg; In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean Holmes. Private inurnment will follow at a later date.
