Ruth Mae Bryant Gustin, 84, Anderson, died July 3, 2004, at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness. She was born May 5, 1920, in Madison County, Indiana, and was a lifelong Madison County resident. She was an Avon Representative for 16 years. She also sold the crafts that she made.
She attended Pleasant Valley Church. Her family came first. She was a member of the UAW Local #662 Craft Club and TRIAD. She was often the decorator for events at Fall Creek Heights School. She was a CBer whose handle was ”Friday.”
She is survived by her husband whom she married on May 30, 1941, at Pleasant Valley Church by the Rev. Dewey Zent, Robert Lovett Gustin; five children, Robert L & wife Sandra Gustin of Pendleton, John William Gustin of Laporte, James E. & wife Linda Gustin of Markleville, Pamela Sue Oster and Linda Jolene Gustin both of Anderson; nine grandchildren, Naidne Gustin & husband Aaron Bilinski of Brownsburg, Molly Gustin, Joe Gustin, Annie Gustin, and Jay Gustin all of Chesterton, Kris Gustin & fiancee Ashley Ginder of Pendleton, Kelley Gustin & husband Randy O’Dell of Eaton, Ohio, Brad Oster and Ryan Oster both of Anderson; three great-grandchildren, Madisen O’Dell and Tyler O’Dell both of Eaton, Ohio and Braden James Gustin of Pendleton; very special sister, Maxine Bryant Frazee Emswiller of Muncie; special nephew, Max Frazee; sister-in-law, Mary Gustin & husband Max Markle of Markleville; two nieces and four nephews and many special friends including, Maxine Hunter-Crawley.
