Ruth M. Evans, 44, of Rose Valley Road, Trout Run went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born August 24, 1966 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late James A. and Arlene L. (Hayes) Winters.
She was a 1984 graduate of the Montoursville High School. She was married on May 23, 1987 to Alden J. Evans Jr., and became a homemaker and mother.
Ruth was a sales representative for Avon for 12 years. She was a Den Leader for the Cub Scouts Pack 88. Ruth enjoyed vacationing at Wildwood Crest and Cape May, NJ. , but she especially loved being home with her family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three children; Mackenzie L., Brady J. , and Kyle J. Evans all at home; two brothers; Robert W. Winters of Montpelier, VT., and Keith E. (Laura) Winters of Williamsport; and two sisters; Jane E. Cleveland of Rose Valley, and Gail D. Stroble of Muncy.
