Details: Ruth M. Walker, 81, a 40 year resident of West River and formerly of Sunset Beach in Pasadena died at Anne Arundel Medical Center on July 27, 2009. She was born on September 6, 1927 in Glen Burnie, MD to the late James and Louise Wickard. She attended Glen Burnie High School. Mrs. Walker worked for the State of Maryland for 14 years retiring in the early 1990’s. Mrs. Walker was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the Ladies of the Deale Elks. She enjoyed gardening & crafts. Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband of 62 years Lawrence Walker, Jr., her sons Lawrence Walker, III of West River and Richard Walker of Delaware, her daughter Gail Oursler of Delmar, MD, five grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Gwenn Anne Walker.
