Ruth Mary Steele (nee McAleavey), 94, of Holiday City, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Irvington, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Irvington before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1985.
Ruth worked for RCA in Harrison, NJ for 35 years. She was an active parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. and was a member of the Berkeley Twp. Republican Club. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 1996 and her siblings John McAleavey, Hugh McAleavey, Patricia Reynolds and Theresa McCourt.
She is survived by her nieces, nephews and extended family.
