Ruth L Gustin, 96, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, January 16, at Wadsworth Glen in Middletown.
Born on December 4, 1913 in Lawrence MA, she was the daughter of the late Hedwig and Richard Weller. On Jan 6, 1940 she married Bertram P. Gustin of Somerville, MA who passed away on July 6, 1986.
Ruth grew up in Lawrence and Methuen MA and later went to work as a medical secretary for Worcester State Hospital, Worcester MA until she married. She loved being part of the Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts as a leader. She and Bert were in the PTA in Lexington MA where they raised their four children. She was also part of the Lions Club and helped Bert run Auctions, which she always enjoyed.
