Ruth K. Longacre, 90, of Coopersburg, went home peacefully to be with her Lord on the morning of August 14, 2018. Ruth was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Florence (Moyer) Keeler, was preceded in death by 5 siblings and her husband W. Paul Longacre. She is survived by children Rhoda Detweiler, husband Garry, Glen wife Jerri, Horace A., Paul R., wife Mary, Susan Rice, husband John and Sally Waldon, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Ruth loved children and touched many lives while teaching elementary school in Quakertown, Souderton, and Mathis, Texas. Ruth grew up at Towamencin Mennonite Church and was currently a member at Swamp Mennonite Church.
