Ruth J. Chandler , (Johnson, Hale) 93, of Bristol, passed away at the Sheriden Woods Nursing Center in Bristol, on Thursday, May 19, 2011. Formerly of Wallingford, CT, she was the widow of Howard M. Chandler. She was born February 24, 1918, in Hartford, CT, the only daughter of Carl and Hannah Johnson
She was a graduate of the Morse School of Business. Until her retirement,she worked as an examiner for the State of CT, Department of Motor Vehicles.
