Ruth I. Sotto, 82, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin, NJ. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, she lived in Barnegat, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 6 months ago. Ruth worked in the Billing Department at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ for 25 years ago, retiring in 1994.
She loved to spend time with her beloved grandchildren and was an avid scrapbooker. Ruth was predeceased by her husbands Charles Lorfing in 2005 and Albert Sotto in 1983. She is survived by her two children Gary Lorfing and his wife Wanda of Edison, NJ and Gail Zavist of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, her step daughter Lynn Audet and her husband Steve of Perth Amboy, NJ, six grandchildren Danielle Coates and her husband Josh of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Keith Lorfing and his wife Amanda of Edison, NJ, Michael Burke of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Travis Burke of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Ashley Audet of Boston, MA, Brandon Audet of Perth Amboy, NJ, four great grandchildren Keirstin, Colton, Dylan and Jackson, and her two cousins Marie DeFario and her partner Billy, and Allan DeFario. Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ is in charge of the arrangements.
