Ruth Henrietta Mohler Weiler, 89, Muncie, died October 18, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital-Muncie.
She was born December 13, 1920 in Grand Junction, Colorado, and resided in Muncie, Indiana with her daughter Anne for the past two years. Ruth was a career educator receiving her degree at Manchester College in English Education. She moved from Villa Park, IL in 1993 to reside in Anderson. She was a member of the Illinois Teachers Association and the Anderson Church of God. She was a volunteer at the Deicke home for special needs adults Villa Park and the Anderson Public Library literacy program. She also volunteered at Daybreak Adult Daycare where she was later a participant.
She is survived by her daughters Anne Darrell Norrick of Muncie and Lois Danny McDowell of Fairfield, Ohio. Ruth had two grandchildren, Nick McDowell and Emily McDowell of Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married in 1948 and passed away in 2002, Wayne Weiler. Parents, Roy and Bernice Hildreth Mohler.
