Ruth Nettleton passed away on Easter morning, April 20th, 2014 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and cancer.
Ruth was born in South Dakota on December 3rd, 1932 to Ruby and Richard Ellingson, who she joins in heaven, along with Robert and Earnest Ellingson and Joshua Scott. Ruth leaves behind a large family, including her siblings Esther Hanson, Marie Chalifoux, Gary and Barbara Elingson, and Charloette Barton. Ruth also leaves two daughters Chris VanZant and Sandy Scott, four grandchildren, Arielle VanZant, Dan VanZant, Aisha VanZant, and Andrea Scott a pair of great-grand children, and a beagle named Bailey.
Ruth was a loving, honest, hardworking woman, and while her family is relieved her difficult passing is over, the world is just a little less green without her in it.
