Those left to honor Ruth’s memory are her three sons, Darrell (Nancy) Foreman of Baxter, Arnold Foreman of Newton, and Ronald (Jackie) Foreman of Newton; her daughter, Darlene (Bill) Clifton of Chandler, Arizona; eleven grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ina (Deaton) Gustaffson; husband, Virgil in 1986; two sisters, Marie McKee and Fern Gustaffson; and two brothers, Harold and Frank Gustaffson.
Ruth was a homemaker. She has lived in Newton for 22 years; prior she had lived in Baxter, Marshalltown and Des Moines.
Ruth enjoyed cooking, baking, she also loved dolls and sewing and crocheting doll clothes.
