Ruth Gullotta, age 85, of Milford and formerly of Mesa, Arizona, died on Sunday August 31, 2014 at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake.
Ruth Ilene Morris, the daughter of John and Kate (Eibey) Morris, was born on February 9, 1929 in Ogden, Iowa. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1946. After graduation she attended the University of Iowa for two years. On June 7, 1947 Ruth was united in marriage with Norman Mendon in Ogden, Iowa. After Norman’s death in 1991, Ruth married Charlie Gullotta on February 11, 1995 in Mesa, AZ. Ruth enjoyed playing bridge, golfing and Arizona.
Left to cherish Ruth’s is her daughter, Molly Rohlfsen and her husband Randy of Arnold’s Park; a son, Mike Mendon and his wife Shirlee of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Lindsay Rohlfsen and her significant other Kirby Schultz, Scott Rohlfsen and his girlfriend Porschia Denning, John Mendon and his wife Priya, Jeff Mendon and his girlfriend Sheri Alderman; a great grandson, Kieran Mendon; step-children; Debbie Gullotta, Michael Gullotta, Sal Gullotta, Carol Elovecky, Gail Mangum, Sunny Brogan, Sal Gullotta, and Lea Leclerc; and many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two husbands.
