Ruth Marguerite (Erickson) Hindle, 78, of Cromwell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her home. Born on October 6, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Rebecca (Aumuller) Erickson. Ruth was a homemaker and entrepreneur.
Ruth is survived by her three children, Kim Johnston (James) of Middletown, George Hindle, III (Laura) of East Hampton, and Andrew Hindle (Betty) of Cromwell; one sister, Jean Watson of NY; one brother, Thomas Erickson (Carolyn) of WI; five grandchildren, George IV, Jessica, Jason, Amanda, and Michael; two great grandsons, George V and Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her ex-husband, George Hindle, Jr.
